About Catweasel

Catweasel is a 1969 Contessa 26, built by the Jeremy Rogers yard in Lymington. These boats have a grand pedigree, tracing their roots and characteristics back to the wooden Folkboat,  a Swedish design originally conceived in the 1939. Despite this mature design, they continue to perform and in 2006 Rosina of Beaulieu, a Contessa 26 skippered by Jeremy Rogers, won the Gold Roman Bowl on corrected time in the Round The Island Race. There is also a long history of epic voyages being undertaken in Contessa 26s and this was a major factor when Tim made his choice of yacht.
